TMK Foods (Pty) Ltd trading as Mediterranean Kitchen is based in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Using only the best and freshest hand selected ingredients we pride ourselves in producing the finest home-made quality dips, pesto’s and mezé since 2010.

From humble beginnings, it all started out with our mom and dad, producing out of the home kitchen in preparation to sell on the weekend at the farmers markets.

After a few years of trading at the market and building up regular customers, dad then acquired a small factory and started supplying a handful of local grocers, delicatessens and butcheries to make the product available throughout the week.

om 2019, a strategy was decided to include his sons given their professional backgrounds in economics, commerce and mathematics.

Together they rebranded and relaunched the product range while applying modern business practices to make that home-made quality product available to the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumable Goods) market on a provincial and national level.

We plan to expand our reach and footprint across the country to ensure that more South Africans can taste and feel the home-made goodness in every tub.
